“Pure Data” Workshop with Yann Seznec

Thu 4th July, 1-4pm, Custom House in Leith, Edinburgh
£25 + booking fee
In this workshop you will learn to use Pure Data, the free open-source cross-platform system for making your own audio and music software. You will make a fully customisable looping audio system, along the way learning all of the concepts of visual programming and familiarising yourself with the basic tools that come with Pure Data to allow you to start designing your own systems. Tinderbox at Granton Youth Club

Thursdays 5:30-7:30, at Granton Youth Centre until 25th July.
For S1 and over. Everyone is welcome, from complete beginners to experienced young musicians.

Instrumental lessons, Songwriting, Rapping, Singing, Arts/Crafts and more!
An amazing mix of people, ages and experience – full of creativity, community spirit and a lot of fun!

We run three music sessions each week at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children and Child and Adult Mental Health Services in Edinburgh.

Tinderbox Lab

Open Studio – Drop-in Session – Wednesdays
Wednesday evenings, 6-9pm, £5 suggested donation. Custom House, Leith.
Bring your own project or join in with an introductory workshop exploring topics such as basic electronics & circuits and building simple synthesisers and sound devices.
We can accommodate about 10 people in the lab, so please email lab@tinderboxcollective.org to let us know ahead of time if you would like to come.

**** ‘A trip on a grand, ambitious and stimulating scale’ The Scotsman. 

7 years on from our first rehearsal, Tinderbox Orchestra released their debut album. ‘Tinderbox’ is now available on Bandcamp, Itunes, Spotify, Soundcloud and other online outlets.
