Lab Guest Artist Workshops

We’ve been getting busy down at the Tinderbox Lab specialist creative technologies workshops! 

 

We were visited by the DOBA Studio team and their impressive machinery, who taught us all about their innovative approaches to recycling efforts through shredding, melting and reforming plastics – and as part of the workshop everyone got to try the equipment, and make their very own recycled plastic coasters, containers, and turtle-shaped keyrings! 

 

Then we also hosted sound artist, Lab Member and Tinderbox Orchestra pal Sonia Killmann who shared her approach to creative sound making through field and foley recording, which included a fantastic collaborative sound jam!
