Over the past year, the Tuesday Hub have been focussing more on original music-making, in addition to their energetic and confident renditions of some pop smash hits.
Â
This time last year, the Tuesday Hub had just rewritten their very own version of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, but one-upped themselves last week, with their very own original Christmas tune: Pigs & Blankets. With each sectional contributing, it was a wonderful display of what matters most to the Tuesday Hub at this festive time of year. Every young person who has attended the hub this year has demonstrated deep commitment and kindness towards one another to make the hub a welcoming, inclusive, and staple youth group in Muirhouse.
Â
The hub is the beating heart of Tinderbox, and provides a space to be completely authentic which is met with overwhelming positivity.Â
As we head into the New Year, preparations begin for our annual stellar performance: North Edinburgh Community Festival, at West Pilton Park, which saw the Tuesday Hub debut their original Community Song last year. With the tune featuring at a very special workshop on the 10th of January, what will the hub come up with next for May’s community festival?
